Hi Likeless, congrats on your shiny new CVS account ;)
Could you post a note on your project page stating that Fivestar Extras requires the latest Development version of Fivestar until the 1.14 version of Fivestar comes out? I want to get full multi-axis rating UIs in place before the next version, so it could be a while yet. Thanks!

Richard Blackborder commentedThanks! Your post made the CVS application straightforward for me.
I've added the message, with a direct link to the HEAD version of fivestar.module. Let me know if anything more is needed.

quicksketchNice! It'd probably be more helpful to link to the dev version release (which is updated nightly with the latest code). The HEAD version of Fivestar is actually quite out of date. The DRUPAL-6--1 branch is the proper version. Here's the release page: http://drupal.org/node/286329

Richard Blackborder commentedAh, okay, thanks. I'm still feeling my way a bit with the finer points of releases. I've updated the project page.

Richard Blackborder commentedJust a note that I have now removed this notice as the relevant Fivestar version has come out.
For a future Fivestar version, are you still planning on fivestar_get_settings()? (ref. posts 16,18,26 of #280735: Add fiveestar vote on comment without nodecomments module)
quicksketchI think the function would definitely still be handy, I'd like to see it worked into #317317: Rate on multiple axis with admin UI.

Richard Blackborder commentedDave, are you closing this issue because the points in #4 and #5 are resolved? I took a look at the latest Fivestar code, and it doesn't seem to be.
I made a Fivestar issue about it: #540850: Support For Other Content Type Settings (Fivestar Extra Module) but unfortunately it seems to have sunk unnoticed in the issue queue.
If you are just closing it because the Fivestar version has changed, I think it would be better to rename the issue and keep it open. Fivestar Extra is still malfunctioning when the number of stars is not 5.

dddave commentedSorry for setting it to fixed. Cannot remember why I did it but it might be for the reasons you stated. I think it was either a case of not thinking right or just a lapse.
I was merely checking this module out.
