Hello. For many years I had an RSS feed dedicated to Drupal articles and book reviews, currently located at http://www.ross.ws/_rss/rss_Drupal_Planet.xml. It validates.

It's been several years since it's had fresh content, and perhaps that's the reason why the feed appears to be no longer included in the Planet Drupal aggregation feed. Specifically, https://www.drupal.org/aggregator/sources/996 used to have a link to my feed, but now appears to be gone.

Sometime during the next few days, I'm going to finish writing and publish a new article on modules, and it would be wonderful if it could be included in the Planet Drupal feed. Could someone please add my feed back to the Planet Drupal feed? Thanks!

I added the feed (https://www.drupal.org/aggregator/sources/2016). No articles have been added, since the ones older than three months and three weeks are discarded.

Thank you for contacting me. I verified that the link worked yesterday evening when I published the article, and verified it again just now: https://www.ross.ws/?_writing/articles/Proprietary%20vs.%20Open%20Source.... Neither time did I see any report of a failure due to an unsecure connection.

Also, it showed up fine this morning in my general RSS feed (https://www.ross.ws/_rss/rss.xml) and my Drupal feed (https://www.ross.ws/_rss/rss_Drupal_Planet.xml).

Like so many owners of modestly-budgeted websites, the security certificate I'm using is Let's Encrypt, provided by the hosting service, SiteGround. I can't imagine that could be causing the problem, as it is such a popular option.

Does the problem appear to be specific to that article? Or is it affecting all of my Drupal articles in that feed?

Thanks for a fast reply. And sorry about the noise, it was a false alarm. I am using Firefox with user agent switcher add-on, which seems to make a difference. I turned it off, and everything was fine.

And great article, I agree 100%. Open source is the safest choice!

PS. An extra word has snuck in: "As a result, one the project manager ..."

No worries. In fact, at least one time in the past I noticed a similar error, but I don't recall if it was from my RSS feed or someone else's.
