Problem/Motivation

The Drupal 8 end-of-life is very soon. I am helping with the upgrade of many Drupal 8 sites and some of them use this module. Others in the community are eager to get an official Drupal 9 release as shown in this issue:

The dev version of the module is Drupal 9 compatible but there is no official Drupal 9 release. I contacted Laura Gates as the last commit was their patch but they do not have access to make a release. The last commit from the module owner was 2 years ago.

I have contacted the module owner (@dakku) and add a comment on this issue with the message.

I have maintained modules in the past, but have mostly work on core issues the last few years. I understand the processes and responsibilities for project maintainership. At minimum, I am willing to review the existing RTBC issues for possible inclusion and to create a Drupal 9 release. Beyond that, someone else may want to take over as a longer-term co-maintainer as I'm not sure I would be able to maintain this module long term. I am not sure if I have the necessary permissions to opt into security coverage.
