I am having the same issue, Control Panel is enabled and appears in menu, However just shows a heading nothing else. I installed it into /modules/control panel.

I suspect this is because you are trying to view the whole navigation menu as the source for the control panel. Because of the rewrite of the menu system in Drupal 6 this may not work. I suggest you try setting the source to a different point in the menu like "Administration". I've not had time to look into this bug but this suggestion might get the module working for you in the mean time.

Hi,

I had the same problem, I set the source menu to administration and it is working now.

Thanks

Go to Administrator - Control Panel - Change the settings under 'Source Menu Item' from Nevigation to Administrator. Save it and check.... Here is the Screen Shot...I had same problem previously...I changed the settings to Administrator and it works..

Thanks

I've done all of the above but when I bring up the control panel, only the administer icons appear. I'm missing the "Content Management", "Site Building", etc.

After going to Administrator - Control Panel - Change the settings under 'Source Menu Item' from Navigation to Administer, it is important to select Child Panels and define the number of levels. Also select Make child panels collapsable and click save. For some reason, the other menu items do not display if I do not select "make collapsable."

I assume that you upload and rename more icons to the image folder to avoid the display of control panel default.

Hope this helps.

That did it! however, when I log in as anyone else aside from admin and than try to access the control panel all I get is the header "Control Panel" and nothing else. I've played with the permissions but nothing seems to work. I assume this is an easy fix and that I'm missing something simple.

Control Panel now defaults to showing the Navigation menu and the modules has been fixed to allow top level menus to be used as the source.
