Go to ?q=admin/settings/imce

You'll see that the default User-1 Profile is assigned only to user 1. You can then assign that profile (or create another) for other roles.

Sorry, I already posted a question that I now see is connected to this one. I was having the same problem that the user role I called "Owner" has all the permissions set exactly as I (admin, user 1) do. When the owner uploads an image, it won't resize the original. It will create a resized thumbnail though when that is checked. When I try as admin, it works perfectly.

I have changed the settings in ?q=admin/settings/imce so that all users have enabled scaling of images, however, when I try to upload a large image as an authenticated users, I do not even have the check option scale if necessary. As if the settings would not even take effect! The other settings, like file size do take effect, except scaling and resizing! What is the problem?
