When there are multiple menu items pointing to the same node, how is this resolved? Automatically, the menu with the least depth is selected, which could be confusing.
Let's say you have the following menu structure:
Home
-About Us
--Our Philosophy
-Services
--Types of Services
---Service A
---Service B
---New Services
----Our Philosophy
-Contact Us
Where Our Philosophy points to the same node, say node/12. If you navigate to Services, Types of Services, New Services, and then Our Philosophy, you'll get booted back to the Our Philosophy page under About Us.

bengtan commentedHi,
I just borrowed some lines of code out of the Drupal menu system into submenutree, so it picks whichever menu item Drupal would.
By my reading, it seems to pick first from whichever menu is set at .../admin/build/menu/settings as the
Default menu for content. If that doesn't exist, then it picks the menu item with the lowest mlid - which should be the menu item that was first created.
However, I didn't actually verify this, so don't quote me on it.
The only thing I can say with certainty is that it follows what Drupal does, so if you really want to be sure, as the Drupal core developers.

RedTop commentedThanks, I had the same problem and found this issue.
I can confirm that setting "default menu for content" to the menu which is used for the submenutree hierarchy solves this problem. :)
