Team meeting - 5/24/2021

We are not meeting next week, 5/31/2021, due to the Memorial Day holiday.

Marketing and design updates

• Everyone is agreed we should go with design #1
• We’ll make a decision on which sponsor logos to include on the back when we get closer to the camp
• Newsletter for session submission went out last Thursday
• Phil has 10 days of social posts queued up
• Matthew requested that we highlight the 501c3 formation board in the next newsletter

Keynote and maintainer interview updates

• Still waiting on one more keynote speaker bio

2021 trainings

• Not too much movement here in the last week. Nick still going to work with Janice on next steps

2021 summits

• 3 of 4 landing pages are almost complete
• Eric and Chris to talk about how to add attribution to an image on the higher landing page

Sponsorship updates

• We’ll give core sponsors the option to do a pre-recorded self plug and intro before the keynotes
• Matthew is following up with the prospective sponsors he’s been in touch with.

Hopin status

• Hopin won’t allow us to set tickets up in a way that users can buy multiple tickets - registrants won’t be able to come back and do their donation after the fact. We’ll need to rethink how we're handling ticketing.
• Matthew will setup ticket types that include summits and a custom field to select the specific summits. We’ll do a separate event for trainings.
• We'll revisit this setup in our next meeting

Website updates

• Nothing new this week.

501c3 formation board updates

• Matthew created an issue in the DCCO issue queue, anyone interested in sitting on the board should comment on the issue
