Request for 'confirmed' user role

Hello,

I have created an account and would like to begin posting case studies about recent projects I have worked on that use Drupal. However, when I go to the case study section there is no option to create/add a case study. I assume this is because my account is not confirmed. Please advise if there is anything I need to do on my end to have the ability to post case studies.
