The L10n Tools module helps to erase unnecessary / orphaned localization from the database or refresh translations from localize.drupal.org. It provides an Administration UI and Drush Commands for common localization cleanup tasks
The module provides a UI & Drush Commands with several functionalities:
Delete Equal Localizations:
The "Equal translations" Tab offers the option to show all translation database entries, where the source string is the exact same, as the translated string. If listed, an option will appear to delete the listed translations (not the source strings).
Delete Orphan / Untranslated Localizations:
The "Orphan / Untranslated translations" Tab offers the option to show all translation database entries, where the source string has no translated string or the translated string is empty. If listed, an option will appear to delete those entries.
Note: after deleting the "Equal translations" the source strings will appear in the "Orphan / Untranslated translations" List.
Reset Localization status (Refresh from localize.drupal.org):
The "Reset translation status" Tab offers the option to reset the translation status, meaning, it will delete the current translation status of each project and will reset the locale_file timestamp, last checked date for all projects and the general locale last checked date. It also offers an option to check available translation updates manually.
REQUIREMENTS

This module only requires the
- Interface Translation
- Language
modules to be activated which are core modules. If you don't have them enabled, this module doesn't make any sense for you ;)

CONFIGURATION
-------------
The module has no menu or modifiable settings. There is no configuration. When
enabled, a menu link gets created under:
Home » Administration » Administration » Configuration » Regional and language » L10n Tools
