Problem/Motivation

The project seems to be minimally maintained. There many open issues in the issue queue that requires attention along with the support for D9. with less & less activity

Proposed resolution

I would like to become a Co-Maintainer & Provide support in fixing the open issue/upgrading the Module to D9

I reached out to the Project Owner via D.O Contact form on Nov 30, 2020, with No response till date.

@gobinathm Wait tomorrow, and move the issue to the Drupal.org project ownership queue. That is the next step when the request doesn't get any replies in 14 days. (The status is still Active as there isn't anything to review.)

I am writing you because Gobinath (https://www.drupal.org/u/gobinathm) offered to co-maintain the Restrict IP module (https://www.drupal.org/project/restrict_ip).
May you write a comment on https://www.drupal.org/project/restrict_ip/issues/3194838 about accepting or declining his offer? Without any reply in the next 14 days, Gobinath could be added as co-maintainer (user without the permission to administer maintainers/co-maintainers).

Just asking, because D8 EOL is close and there is no new release yet.
