In D7 it was possible to add css classes to a page variant under the 'general' tab of the variant. Also, a page variant does not add default class that is variant specific to style against leaving only the ability to use hook alter on the build. Since this was a feature in D7 and it has been discussed in other issues I thought it might be a good idea to bring it back.
1. Add a default class on the variant build using storage id
2. Add a form element to configure additional classes as in D7
New form element on the variant configuration general tab for additional classes.
