Several user profile fields are not grouped

I am currently trying to group my user profile pages.

I have noticed that several fields are not grouped even when the UI shows that they should be.

The following fields seem to ignore grouping.

Core:
Roles, Status, current password and new password (including confirm),

Not core:
Plain text only email checkbox, password policy box (includes stats and a reset checkbox)

I am using account field split https://www.drupal.org/project/account_field_split so that I can group fileds that are handled in core under "User name and password" seperately.
