1️⃣ Overall project status update

mtift This tread is for discussing the overall status of the Olivero initiative in broad terms, and we'll save specific issue discussions for later threads.
mherchel Number of issues resolved in the last week!
mherchel In addition to that, we have a number of RTBC issues for the committers to look at. Things continue to move on!
mherchel I personally spent some time working on standardizing focus states over the weekend (#3153260: Standardize Olivero's focus states across all non-form controls) and pinged an accessibility maintainer for a quick review (it’s still a WIP)
mherchel Most of our issues on the path to stability are technical debt and coding standards issues #3177296: [META] Make Olivero stable
mherchel So, from my point of view, we’re in a good place to be stable and default for 9.2 :crossed_fingers:

mherchel Lots of CSS coding standards issues in #3156207: [META] Olivero Coding standards review and fix - CSS files
mherchel and JS coding standards in #3173898: [meta] Olivero JavaScript coding standards fixes
proeung We have some design QA feedback that will be added to the issue queue soon, so keep an eye out for those tickets.
mherchel In addition to the above, I’d love to see more testing in less-common use cases (different browsers, high contrast mode, screen widths, RTL, etc)
mherchel On top of all of that, I’d love to see movement on getting in some needed additional test coverage #3174107: Add additional testing coverage for Olivero
