Problem/Motivation

I installed, IMCE, also IMCE for a File Field;
usually I used IMCE for an Image Field for nodes/ articles;

When I am going to Node Edit / image field - I am unable to upload anything to my assigned folder, always getting Error notice:

An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact admin (i.e. - me);

In IMCE profile settings I have set the image extensions.... the folder is 775 on server, I can't find a reason for this...

This is meant for a Drupal 7.73 (latest) recent installation from new...

My D8 version IMCE on the same hosting works without problems, with D7 I haven't used for a couple of years, may be I've forgotten something?!

After very long time I found the trick:

I had to check

Behaviour for existing files:
Keep the existing file renaming the new one

- then it worked;

- Because my folder was Empty, and there was None of Image, Zero - I had no idea I must check To Overwrite Not the existing Images.... I thought that would be checked only if I already had such an image's name in folder

It was supposed to work without having to check this option, I believe

I couldn't reproduce the error.
I tried to reproduce the error with all options of Behavior for existing files but I was not able.
Can you write the steps to reproduce?

I think we can set this issue to fixed as no one report any similar problem.

If @ZambalaRed provides the steps to reproduce, we can re-open it.
