Yes, curious why this isn't covered? There is a tagged release. Is it because a security audit issue was not fixed?

The project owner has the role necessary to opt into security coverage for the projects he creates, but it's up to the project owners (or maintainers) decide when opting into security coverage for their projects. It's not because a security audit issue, if the project didn't opt into security coverage.
