I thought the module will still allow un-registered users to click on the voting widget but they will be re-directed to either the login page or any other page i choose to. Please take a look at the registered picture and the unregistered picture for more explanation.

CompShack commentedUPDATE: After more testing, it looks like the only user that can vote on comments is user 1. None of my registered users or un-registered users are able to do that. I have permission "give points with extra voting forms" checked for both registered and unregistered users but no luck. Is this a bug?

mercmobily commentedHi,
Sorry... please explain what the problem is *exactly*.
Writing:
"I thought the module will still allow un-registered users to click on the voting widget but they will be re-directed to either the login page or any other page i choose to. Please take a look at the registered picture and the unregistered picture for more explanation."
...you thought that. Fine :-D
Now:
* What's the current behaviour?
* What's the expected behaviour
* Was this working with version 5.x of the module?
This version 6.x is still not "certified" -- no official release yet. We will test the lot when we release Drigg for D6 (which hasn't happened yet).
Till then, reports need to be _immaculate_...
Bye!
Merc.

CompShack commentedI never used version D5 of the module so can't compare it to that. The problem is simple. Only user "1" can vote and no one else. I have permission "give points with extra voting forms" checked for both registered and unregistered.
If you look at my registered and unregistered pictures, you can see that the registered one has blue "enabled" buttons where user "1" can click on them to rate content BUT the 2nd picture shows the buttons in "gray" color and you can't really click on them.
In short, it looks like only user "1" can vote when using D6 version of this module.

mercmobily commentedHi,
Have you tried voting on articles that are new?
Extra Voting Forms has a setting that limits how long nodes can be voted for. It looks like you are trying to vote for articles that have passed that date.
Please check Extra Voting Form's settings and report back!
Merc.

CompShack commentedmercmobily, you are right, it was because the nodes and comments were old on my testing site. It was a little confusing cause i didn't have the check box for "Will hide the vote given by the select box" check, so thought the time aspect of it shouldn't matter.
One more question if I can please. How does Drigg come into play with this module? Are they interconnected? You have mention drigg in your 1st reply but I'm can't quite make the connection between the two. Thanks!

mercmobily commentedHi,
Glad it's fixed!
Drigg is just the reason why I wrote Extra Voting Forms... they are not really connected. Drigg uses EVF, but it could use any other form, really :-D
(And some people do!)
Bye!
Merc.
