In issue #3084867-18: Do not check required (un)publish_on date if scheduled (un)publishing is disabled I added a new test for Non-enabled node types. I did not test this at PHP5.3 and it fails on the short array syntax. We get error "Unable to generate test groups" with "PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /var/www/html/sites/all/modules/scheduler/tests/scheduler.test on line 697" - see https://www.drupal.org/pift-ci-job/1824806

PHP5.3.3 is the minimum version supported by Drupal 7 so this should be fixed.
