Hi!
I would like to apply for inclusion of my blog to Planet Drupal. I've been writing posts for over a decade now, and I quite often write Drupal related articles.
I've been through your checklist and I think everything is in order. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help the site get included.
Blog name: #! code
Drupal-Planet tagged feed URL:
https://www.hashbangcode.com/tag/drupal/feed
Thanks!
Phil Norton

ressaThe feed validates and the content is of high quality, so the blog can be added.

avpadernoThe summary should be at least 600 characters, to let users who read Planet Drupal understand if the article could interest them.

philipnorton42 commentedHi kiamlaluno,
Strangely the RSS teaser output was set to 600 characters. I've reformatted the description field to include more of the description on its own and set the character limit to be 2000 characters.
Let me know if I can do anything else here. Happy to correct the input.
Thanks,
Phil

avpadernoPerfect! I added the feed to Planet Drupal (https://www.drupal.org/aggregator/sources/1979). The Aggregator module added 5 articles.

ressaHello blogger, I am a Planet Drupal reader and have noticed that many posts on https://www.drupal.org/planet don't include an image, because relative image paths are used in the feed, and not absolute paths.
I just want to highlight this recommendation from https://www.drupal.org/drupalorg/docs/content/planet-drupal to make sure we get more images on Planet Drupal:
Have a nice day!

avpadernoI am changing status as per previous comment.

philipnorton42 commentedI'm not sure what you're talking about ressa.
The last image I posted on my site that made it to Drupal planet was over 9 months ago (it was the DrupalCon Prague 2023 article). There are no current posts that feature images in the RSS feed and my older posts have been removed from the site.
As a precaution, I just double checked the output of my RSS feeds and that image had an absolute reference.
My website _is_ producing relative links in the markup, but not in the RSS feed. If you want to raise an issue with the content of my site then please submit via the contact form at https://www.hashbangcode.com/contact-us and I'd be happy to accommodate you :)
In the meantime, I'm going to close this ticket since I don't feel that this is an issue with my feed to Drupal Planet.
Thanks!

ressa@philipnorton42: I just saw that there are images at the top of your your blog posts (for example https://www.hashbangcode.com/sites/default/files/styles/header_image/pub...) and I wrongly assumed that they should also be included in the final Planet Drupal, but I see that you don't include the image in the feed.
