Any update on this one?
Shouldn't take to long since there are only 2 problems based on the module upgrade_status

Class Drupal\cleaner\Tests\CleanerTest extends deprecated class Drupal\simpletest\WebTestBase. Deprecated in drupal:8.8.0 and is removed from drupal:9.0.0. Instead, use Drupal\Tests\BrowserTestBase. See https://www.drupal.org/node/3030340. Replacement available from drupal:8.6.0.

Add core_version_requirement: ^8 || ^9 to designate that the module is compatible with Drupal 9. See https://drupal.org/node/3070687.

Would consider this a support request rather than a feature request.

Also core_version_requirement already taken care of in https://www.drupal.org/project/cleaner/issues/3128479

In addition https://www.drupal.org/project/cleaner/issues/2790753 still needs to be reopened for it to be properly fixed!
