➤ Is for trainers and volunteers interested in helping to run Drupal training days, collaborating on training material, improving curriculum.
➤ Usually happens second Wednesday of the month month at 12:00 UTC (London), 22:00 AEST (Sydney).
➤ Is done over slack chat.
➤ Happens in threads, which you can follow to be notified of new replies even if you don’t comment in the thread. You may also join the meeting later and participate asynchronously!

2️⃣ anything particular you would like to discuss?

VladimirAus	I would like to talk about improving drupal documentation and about training plans.
alexar	I’d like us to discuss ways GTD can adapt to the way we all do things. “Adaption and opportunities” if you will.
VladimirAus	Would you like to elaborate @alexar? Any concrete requests?

3️⃣ Are you planning to run Drupal Global Training Day in June? Official dates are Jun 25-27 https://groups.drupal.org/global-training-days-2020#jun

VladimirAus	I'm planning virtual Drupal 9 training for the dates above.
AmyJune (volkswagenchick she/her)	I’ll be supporting The Pantheon folks during their training
David Needham - Pantheon	Yes! Pantheon has updated to our “Getting Started with Drupal 9” training for this next one.
Kazu Hodota	We did Drupal 9 Global Training Day for First Time Users online 2020-0606 Tokyo last weekend, https://cmslabo.doorkeeper.jp/events/106893
Kazu Hodota	entry was 16 persons and joined 7-8 persons online. I think first Drupal users were 2-3 person who are using WordPress and Movable Type or same CMS. Other persons were Drupal users who knows me. We used this hands on by Drupal 9.0 that from install to edit page and admin functions. Also hands on install Drupal 8 by composer create project command that are very easy maintenance Drupal core and modules.
Kazu Hodota	Also I explaind how to develop Drupal website, databse schema, module based programing, Low code developing style and so on......

4️⃣ Drupal 9 was release a week ago.
Are you planning to run Drupal 9 training sessions in foreseeable future or would you prefer earlier version? https://www.drupal.org/about/9

VladimirAus	I’m planning to run virtual session in the end if this month.
Kazu Hodota	I think Drupal 9 need some module check or some functions , I guess.
AmyJune (volkswagenchick she/her)	San Francisco drupal users group and BADCamp are lining up some D9 programming for the fall

5️⃣ Public training agendas. If there is idea or request for particular training, drupalgtd project is the perfect place to request the course.

VladimirAus	I'm working on Creating catalogue with Drupal training agenda for these month trainings.
VladimirAus	I will also add Tips for Drupal Global Day Trainers as discussed last month.

6️⃣ DrupalCon update. @rachel_norfolk I saw there were training sessions announced for DrupalCon Online. Any updates on DGTD promotions we discussed last month?

rachel_norfolk	I thought I was waiting on what kind of promotion you wanted, and for what events?
VladimirAus	@rachel_norfolk I see. Last month I wasn't clear on what DrupalCon Online will be. So I assume you have training partners who are delivering training sessions for upcoming DrupalCons? I would be happy to run training training session on behalf of Drupal Global Training Days if there is such an opportunity. (edited)
rachel_norfolk	ah! No, there will be no training as part of DrupalCon Global this year. It didn’t really fit together with the different orgs that already offer online training, to be honest.
rachel_norfolk	Would it be a useful thing to build into the DrupalCon introductions, or wrap up, a call out to GTD that was taking place? Maybe moving the next GTD after the event?

VladimirAus	@AmyJune (volkswagenchick she/her) any BADCamp updates?
rachel_norfolk	Still some feedback items we are working on but it lives!!! drupal.org/community/events
rachel_norfolk	I have even added an event type that would allow groups such as this advertise their meetings
VladimirAus	Looking good.
AmyJune (volkswagenchick she/her)	BADCamp lives as well, hahaha We moved to virtual and I am coordinating with trainers about content delivery.. we will have at least one intro to drupal workshop along with composer, migrations, and 5 others
