Might be a different module altogether but I'd much rather have the ability to create bookings using my own CCK fieldsets and be able to do with them whatever I wish with regards to views, permissions, CCK privacy, workflow/actions/rules etc. I should probably get off my rear and learn how to program this myself using the bookingsapi but if anyone has any input, I'd much appreciate the discussion.

Please see #344337: Still under active development - this is a related to the way Bookings API handles resources and will someday be done.
