1️⃣ Overall project status updateOur path to beta is currently headed towards Drupal 9.1. #3111409: Add new Olivero frontend theme to Drupal 9.1 core as beta

mtift (he/him)	Let's use this issue to discuss the overall status of the initiative in broad terms, and we'll save specific issue discussions for later threads.
mherchel	I was hoping to release the final alpha last week but didn’t get to it. I’m waiting on an accessibility issue (focus states) as well, as some changes to regions. I want to get the region issues in asap because we don’t want to have to change that in beta
mherchel	image.png
mherchel	There are also several RTBC issues that need review
mtift (he/him)	Is it safe to say the current focus is on addressing the accessibility concerns raised by the accessibility maintainers?
mherchel	that and the core process. We have several issues to get this into core that need work
mherchel	including postcss changes
mherchel	we need to create an issue to set the new banner image to be the default for articles
mherchel	there’s a number of little things like that that need work
mtift (he/him)	So for anyone new to this project, we're at the point where we are getting feedback from the Drupal core maintainers in the beta issue and responding to that
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him)	I pinged the issue to core committers but I don’t think it resulted in a review yet
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him)	Will try again in case they would find a coordinated call better

2️⃣ Individual issue discussion

mtift (he/him)	This thread is the place to bring up specific issues that need some extra discussion
mherchel	I want to get this in before our final alpha #3153860: Theme and Configure the RSS Feed Views Block
mherchel	and I have a workaround for a small core bug within the twig file. I’d love some feedback on that
proeung	@mherchel Is this ticket (#3153009: Create "Wide" image style for standard profile) that's already fixed and added to Core??
mherchel	it sure looks like it
mherchel	although that one has expanded scope
mherchel	it might be good to change that one to change the default image style on the article content type.
proeung	I see. Do you mind following up on that ticket?

3️⃣ Where can people help this week?

mtift (he/him)	Share your suggestions here :slightly_smiling_face:
mherchel	yeah, i feel like a lot of the issues are big issues, and are reliant on me. I need more time, and feel bad that I can’t get to all the RTBC issues or everything else
mherchel	i would say keep on doing code reviews and finding issues.
mherchel	Hopefully I can make some time to work on this better this week
