I upgraded to the dev version to get the ability to set paragraphs to be open from #3016099: Allow for the default paragraphs to be 'open' (it's the only substantial commit since the last release), and now I'm getting repeated paragraphs. See screenshots

I added the patch and configured about a dozen content types with different combinations of paragraphs. Sometimes with only one default, sometimes with more, sometimes only one open, sometimes more.

Patch works great. RTBC.

you can now pull these changes in via composer, composer require 'drupal/default_paragraphs:^2.0@RC'
