I am one of the co-maintainer of this module and I'd like to maintain this module, which will enable me to release and update the module to work with the latest Drupal version.

The formal procedure for getting an upgrade from co-maintainer to maintainer or owner from the a webmaster is the same as for joining from the outside. I.e. post the request in the project's issue queue (not here), PM the owner and it is probably also a good idea to PM all current maintainers and ask them for an upgrade. Those able to do this are:

  1. jhedstrom
  2. fuzzy76
  3. carvalhar
  4. piyuesh23
  5. neetu morwani
  6. purushotam.rai

Postponing for now. You can can set it back to "Active" two weeks after you've complied with all the requirements spelled out here. Remember to record the steps you take (e.g. who you try to contact and when you send a PM) so that the webmasters can see what you've done. While this is longer required, not doing so will probably result in a further delay before we're able to make progress. (See: #3132055: Suggest also contacting the maintainers when offering to maintain for more information about the contact requirement).
