Has someone tried and/or considered using https://www.drupal.org/project/select2 for selecting modules and more config items in config splits? Seems to me it would be better UX.

Any end site can use the https://www.drupal.org/project/select2_all module on your site and it will apply it automatically, instead of modules needing to opt-in to select2 behavior on a form element basis.

Good heads up. Is it worth adding as a note in the config split config page? Just a signpost in case anyone gets frustrated with the multiselect?
