Team meeting - 4/20/20

Update on DrupalCares campaign
- Everything launched last Tuesday and is going well!

Sponsorship updates
- Working on outreach with the updated language and messaging around DrupalCares
- Moderately slow week, but a couple good conversations are happening

Summit updates
- Chris met with all three groups to update them on the camp approach and messaging
- There were some concerns about the hybrid option and some of the organizers were considering going all digital
- Considering maybe shortening a summit to avoid fatigue if all digital
- All of the summit organizers have really good ideas for sponsors
- Everyone is working outreach for the next few weeks

Training updates
- All of the trainers are in for virtual or hybrid

Website updates: International shipping and tracking in-person attendees
- We need to add a checkbox to the profile to understand if attendee's intention is to attend to virtually or in-person if it happens
- Next up is session submission

Marketing and social updates
- Big push last week for email and social to get the word out about the donation campaign
- Working to reschedule a day this week to record a new promo with Chris
- Next email will be our session submission announcement
- T-shirt design is ready to review - Phil will create an issue with design in it. Feedback can go there.

Virtual camp technology
- Matthew to schedule workshop for virtual technology and camp organization soon

501c3
- Reopening conversation around creating a 501c3 for the camp
- Matthew will take on the initial work to determine what it will take to do this
- Matthew will do research on next steps and we'll discuss in two weeks
