1️⃣ Do you have suggested topics you are looking to discuss? Post in this thread and we’ll open threads for them as appropriate.

webchick Plans for launch day? :slightly_smiling_face:
vuil Help need! (to everyone who needs help with commit/s and/or distribution project)
vuil Beta testing results/status maybe related to @hestenet (he/him) if we have some backport information. (edited)
mikelutz Not strictly D9, but I’m curious if we have any information on how contrib is starting to use semver. adoption rates, issues, etc.
nerdstein rector updates?
nerdstein timeline(s) on future releases
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @webchick do you mean plans to celebrate and plans on what to do to launch
webchick How about both
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) ok I put up 1️⃣ 3️⃣ about the celebration as it does not seem like we have the folks that would discuss the internal stuff here ATM :slightly_smiling_face:

2️⃣ Beta2 is out, participate in the beta testing program!

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) See https://www.drupal.org/blog/get-involved-participate-in-the-beta-test-pr...
Neslee Sure :+1::skin-tone-2:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @vuil asked about beta testing results in the suggested topics, I think this would be the best thread to talk about them :slightly_smiling_face:

3️⃣ Issues to land before Drupal 9 RC (28 days left)

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) https://www.drupal.org/project/issues/search/drupal?project_issue_follow... are the issues to focus on
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) this includes work on readme’s and update documentation
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) some crucial additional test coverage like #3100386: Create contrib update module test cases that use semantic versioning
dww Someone else should try to review ^^^, I think I'll blow a gasket if I keep trying to participate there. ;)
dww Not strictly semver nor D9 required, but #2992631: Update report incorrectly recommends security releases for old minors when a security update is needed and a secure version of the old minor is also available would be good to land ASAP, since it's certainly going to be worse with more modules dealing with more branches (e.g. switching to semver requires a major version bump and a new branch, etc).

4️⃣ Status of contrib modules! Some great stuff celebrate here!

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) Check out the latest data from the weekend on https://dev.acquia.com/drupal9/deprecation_status
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) some examples:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) of the top 200 projects, 65 are now explicitly Drupal 9 compatible (vs 55 last week)
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) there is overall 1.65k less errors in all of contrib than last week
Neelam Wadhwani Hello, I have small query though you may have clear earlier too and might be I missed it .For drupal 9, do contrib modules need composer.json file mandatory?
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @Neelam Wadhwani no they don’t, if they specify core_version_compatibility in info files, that is enough
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) Screenshot 2020-04-06 at 20.16.59.png
Neelam Wadhwani Ok thanks a lot
webchick :fiestaparrot:
berdir @Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) does an explicitly defined status override what was found? that's a lot more green that I expected in top 10, also because some used to have parse errors due to things like drush classes or classes from other modules
berdir yeah it does
berdir that might be misleading for a number of modules, as some added the compatibility definition earlier than it was really compatible, sometimes before fixing 8.8 deprecations or also some problems can only be found with actual testing against D9
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @berdir it goes both ways, someone may be using conditional workaround code that our analysis finds, but we should not penalize them for it, so when someone says they are explicitly Drupal 9 compatible, we take their word for it :slightly_smiling_face:
berdir yeah, that's fair. doesn't work for all cases either way
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) yup that too
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @berdir actually we are undercounting Drupal 9 compatible projects here, since we only count them if the number of D9 compatible extensions in a project equal the number of extensions in a project, and @drumm’s logic on drupal.org counts them Drupal 9 compatible even if the extension named like the project is already compatible (it may still have other incompatible extensions)
berdir there's also a decent amount of projects in the top 200 with 2 or even 3 branches and only one being compatible, so excluding those, that graph might look even better. e.g. devel is there twice but only 3.x will be compatible, same for video embed field 1.x, better exposed filters 3.x, twig tweaks 1.x on just the first page :slightly_smiling_face:
berdir yeah, your parsing logic might skip test modules atm though, because I noticed that I forgot to update the test theme in mailsystem, so that should actually not be green yet, but will do a new release soon
vuil Amazing job @Gábor Hojtsy (he/him)!I'm talking about https://dev.acquia.com/drupal9/deprecation_status
berdir on the duplicate branches, I don't think that needs to be fixed, usually the message makes that fairly clear. but I assume you'll sooner or later want to talk about how many modules are already compatible, with d9 rc or stable, and then it might be work to manually go through the list and exclude the duplicate/stale branches :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @berdir yeah we are looking at possibly switching to @mcdwayne’s scripts, see 6️⃣ that will be different a bit
damienmckenna Huge thanks to Berdir and several others for helping out on modules I comaintain. Will have a D9-compatible release of Metatag out this week.

5️⃣ Who needs help with porting their project?

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @vuil suggested this great topic :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) A key way to call for help is to include a Drupal 9 plan with your project page, this is how: https://twitter.com/DropIsMoving/status/1244615838075928577
vuil :star-struck:
Neelam Wadhwani

6️⃣ Expanding on contributed project testing for deprecated issues

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) we discussed with the DA running upgrade_status via drush rather than phpstan, but it does not seem to be possible for now
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) so asked @mcdwayne if he can continue his efforts from last year this time with this tool and he did https://www.mcdwayne.com/2020/04/04/that-time-i-checked-all-the-drupal-m... :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) looking forward to results possibly soon
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) this should uncover twig errors, deprecated library use, etc.
mcdwayne Just in the middle of round 2.  Early yet, but the new XMLs are stored here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1T6Ghkw6CH4sikAm0GFs17sk9FdZGMWhE
mcdwayne should have a complete, final (as good as I can get it done) by Wednesday I think
tr It would be nice to see these analyses done on -dev rather than a fixed point release.
berdir we discussed that before, has up and downsides. The valid argument has been made that we want to test what's actually officially available to users, if maintainers want to see their module as green then they should make a release
mcdwayne ~/Documents $composer create-project --dev drupal/recommended-project d9-aYou are using the deprecated option "dev". Dev packages are installed by default now.How do I run the -dev option?
berdir that's not the same
berdir --dev/--no-dev is about stuff in require-dev, if that should be installed or not and --dev is on by default
mcdwayne ah
berdir for this, you'd need to explicitly require 1.x-dev, but as I said, I don't think that's necessary
tr "if maintainers want to see their module as green then they should make a release" - to me it's a matter of what question are you trying to answer? For me, I would like to see how close to ready a project is, which is best represented by -dev.  As D9 is not released yet, making a new module release just for the sake of D9 readiness statistics doesn't really make sense to me.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @tr well, drupal-check / upgrade_status locally will check whatever versions you prefer for your local projects :slightly_smiling_face:
tr Yes, that's what I do, but most people will just look at the public statistics which can be misleading.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @tr we should be able to adjust this as we go, it worked ok so far, possibly the audience for the data will change / expand and we’ll need to be more creative how/what we gather/report
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @mcdwayne what kind of machine does this take 75h to run? I am looking at whether I can set up a spare machine to run it indefinitely or so  probably renting the respective computing power would be comparable cost than even buying a used small desktop computer with a decent CPU
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) (I am not concerned for the 75h, we’ve only had weekly dumps about this from our drupalci job also)
mcdwayne 75 might be a wildly conservative estimate
mcdwayne so far with 2 people running 2 to 4 instances of it at a time took all Saturday and Sunday
mcdwayne issues pop up a lot more often than with just 'drupal-check' and errors can take down an running install
mcdwayne But as far as my machine,Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz × 8  8G ram (edited)
mcdwayne ubuntu 19.10 fresh install on Thursday
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @mcdwayne yeah my current spare is around that same CPU, hm
mirom I could run it during Easter on couple of servers. Is there some script you’re using for testing?
mcdwayne https://github.com/mcdwayne/d9-upgrade_status-project
mcdwayne At this point, I will be done with my run before Wednesday, but feel free to test/modify/apply for your own reporting :slightly_smiling_face:
(anonymous) I was running the other machine this weekend, more CPU won't help  with testing.  Composer is the blocker as it takes 80% of the time for each run just hanging on "updating dependencies" (for anyone who wants to run it).
mcdwayne I am going to write a blog post and make some interesting looking graphs in next day, but here it is, the results from the first 2+ attempts at this:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SLWkzOBSZxII2PAupWpKO6e6NZZXAFJ0...
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) Superb, thank @mcdwayne

7️⃣ Semantic versioning now available for ALL PROJECTS on drupal.org!

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) This is to help projects make releases that are not 8.x anymore even if they are still 8.x compatible (but also Drupal 9 compatible).
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) This was the announcement https://twitter.com/DropIsMoving/status/1245013011116539906
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @mikelutz was proposing a question about adoption, do we know how many projects started to use this?
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) maybe @drumm has that data
mikelutz I expect it’s too early to really ask, mostly just curious what the initial impressions are.
Neelam Wadhwani Its interesting...but how will manage it?
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @Neelam Wadhwani manage what exactly?
Neelam Wadhwani Project versions..8.4.2 to 4.2.2...or something like that
dww (obviously) not a blocker for semver contrib (since that's already deployed/enabled), but #2990476: If the site is on an insecure version of an old minor and there is a secure version of that old minor available, the update status report should link that release should probably get some love in the near future to tighten up the Update status report in the new world...
drumm @Neelam Wadhwani see https://www.drupal.org/node/1015226#semver-transition - we do not allow conflicting version numbers like that. If a project has released 8.x-4.2 , they can’t release any 4.* version without the same 8.x- prefix.
Neelam Wadhwani Thanks I will check with it..:slightly_smiling_face:
bircher @drumm that applies to all tagged releases (so including 8.x-2.x-alpha6) but not versions that only have a branch 8.x-2.x right?8.x-2.x-alpha6 => 3.x or 3.0.x8.x-2.x => 2.x or 2.0.x
dww @bircher: no if anything has a 8.x* release node, that major version can't be used for semver.  Even if all you have is 8.x-2.x-dev, to move to semver, you must start with 3.
dww Unless you have an 8.x-2.x branch and no 8.x-2.x-dev release node, I guess.  Then it should work to start doing 2.x.y release nodes.
bircher ok yes, the release node is a good way to memorizing it
drumm Looks like there’s a few with light data corruption I should correct, but
drumm MariaDB [drupal]> SELECT n.title FROM node n INNER JOIN field_data_field_release_project fdf_rp ON fdf_rp.entity_id = n.nid AND fdf_rp.field_release_project_target_id != 3060 INNER JOIN field_data_field_release_version fdf_rv ON fdf_rv.entity_id = n.nid LEFT JOIN field_data_taxonomy_vocabulary_6 fdf_tv6 ON fdf_tv6.entity_id = n.nid WHERE n.status = 1 AND fdf_tv6.taxonomy_vocabulary_6_tid IS NULL AND n.title NOT LIKE '% HEAD';+-------------------------------------------+| title |+-------------------------------------------+| userpoints 7.x-1.0-alpha1 || quiz 6.x-dev || quiz 6.0.0-alpha1 || mysite 5.x-2.0-beta2 || jcarousellite 6.x-2.0-beta1 || sluser 6.x-2.0 || drupal_notifier 5.x-1.0 || disablepwstrength 6.x-1.0-beta2 || curl 6.x-1.0-rc1 || uc_epaybg 5.x-1.0 || cron 6.x-1.0-beta1 || ninesixtyfluid 6.x-1.0-beta1 || crmapi_node 6.x-1.0 || konamicode 6.x-1.6 || styles 7.x-1.0-alpha3 || corolla || socialtoaster 6.x-2.3 || wsclient 7.x-1.0-alpha1 || media_ted 6.x-1.0-beta1 || course 3.x-dev || course 3.0.0-alpha1 || domain_override 6.x-1.0-alpha4 || prod_check || temperature 7.x-1.x || twig_tweak 3.x-dev || twig_tweak 3.0.0-beta1 || commerce_quantity_increments 3.0.0 || date_recur 3.x-dev || date_recur 3.0.0-beta1 || theme_by_author 2.0.0 || language_neutral_aliases 3.0.0 || language_neutral_aliases 3.x-dev || install_profile_generator 3.0.x-dev || install_profile_generator 3.0.0-alpha1 || user_login_persistent_destination 2.x-dev || user_login_persistent_destination 2.0.0 || coi 3.x-dev || coi 3.0.0-rc1 || coi 3.0.0-rc2 || vartheme_admin 8.7.x-dev || commerce_order_autovalidate 2.x-dev || commerce_order_autovalidate 2.0.0 || date_recur_modular 2.x-dev || date_recur_modular 2.0.0-rc1 || date_recur_modular 3.x-dev || date_recur_modular 3.0.0-rc1 || entity_route_context 3.x-dev || entity_route_context 3.0.0-rc1 || config2php 2.x-dev || config2php 2.0.0-beta1 || config2php 2.0.0-beta2 || semver_example 2.x-dev || semver_example 2.1.x-dev || semver_example 2.0.0 || semver_example 2.1.0-beta1 || semver_example 2.0.1-beta1 || popin 2.x-dev || popin 2.0.0-beta1 || popin 2.0.x-dev || views_cm_current_state 2.0.0 || ui_examples 1.x-dev || ui_examples 1.0.0-beta1 || healthz_checks 1.x-dev || mtcaptcha 7.x-dev || bootstrap_govbr 8.1.1 || domain_color 1.x-dev || domain_color 1.0.0 || domain_color 1.0.1 || migration_notify 1.0.0 || migration_notify 1.1.0 || git_utils 1.x-dev || git_utils 1.0.0 || git_utils 1.0.1 || git_utils 1.0.2 || git_utils 1.0.3 || smart_content_a_b 2.x-dev || omnystudio 1.x-dev || omnystudio 1.0.0-alpha1 || social_auth_apple 1.0.0 || social_auth_apple 1.0.1 || social_auth_apple 1.0.2 || datadog 1.0.0 || datadog 1.0.1 || book_access_code 8.x-dev || vbo_push_notifications 1.x-dev || site_branding_per_role 1.x-dev || embera 1.0.0 || embera 1.0.1 || embera 1.0.2 || mailflatrate 1.x-dev || mailflatratefordrupal8 1.x-dev |+-------------------------------------------+91 rows in set (1.50 sec)

drumm “there’s a few with light data corruption”
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) ah
drumm Drupal’s field storage isn’t exactly the most reliable all the time. Either data rot, or maybe when we were running field cache in memcache, which is totally not supported.

8️⃣ Deprecation resolution rector tooling updates

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @nerdstein proposed this topic :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) I just release upgrade_rector alpha2 earlier today that now works on simplytest.me and on various other setups. Thanks to those who tried it out and submitted issues/patches. https://twitter.com/gaborhojtsy/status/1247212683826475008 it also uses the latest drupal-rector from palantir.net :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) As for actual rector updates, @shaal may be a better person to ask :slightly_smiling_face:
nerdstein i wanted to mention im writing a blog post on contributing to the drupal rector project
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @nerdstein amazing!!!
shaal We're going to create some new Rector rules in the next coming weeks.
shaal @Dan created https://github.com/palantirnet/drupal-rector/blob/master/deprecation-ind..., it can be used to parse data on all available Rector Rules for Drupal.

9️⃣ Automated Drupal 9 upgrade checklist

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) We’ve been telling people to check their environment requirements, which version of code they are using, etc.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) I decided to automate this and put this in upgrade_status-dev last week: https://twitter.com/gaborhojtsy/status/1244969107071647745 — will be in the next release :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) this way the module serves as a one stop shop for upgrade checking, including whether your Drupal core is supported as a source for the upgrade, contrib status, custom status, etc.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) (with usual caveat about automated tooling)
vuil Great job! (again) (edited)

🔟 Future releases

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @nerdstein raised this question
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) before Drupal 9, there is likely another beta in a couple weeks (edited)
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) RC is on May the 4th (be with you) (edited)
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) there is no other set date before the release date :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) Drupal 9.1 is planned for December 2nd, 2020
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) other detailed dates in https://www.drupal.org/core/release-cycle-overview
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) aaaand even more into the future, Drupal 10 is planned for mid-2022
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) but that is mostly crystal-balling now
nerdstein thank you
dww Speaking of future release dates... #2998285: Add information on later releases to updates.drupal.org would be lovely to get to at some point, so we don't have these dates hard-coded into update manager in core, but can set them via the release history feeds (ideally, not just for core)...

1️⃣ 1️⃣ Virtual events to disseminate know-how, work on porting projects, core conversations, etc. (edited)

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) Unfortunately there will not be a DrupalCon or Drupal Dev Days before the release anymore. Well, better for our health, but the opportunities some of us at least have in a regular year to work together for days in person on stuff will not be there this year.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) So I am thinking we’ll need to do something virtual.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) On the last core cross-initiative meeting, @bircher also raised that we should discuss initiative scopes, etc. at one point, so virtual core conversations / hard problems meeting would also be useful.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) Who would be interested to try and get something together? :slightly_smiling_face: I am, but I will not be enough alone
dan2k3k4 Amazee marketing team has shown interest in helping wherever we can :slightly_smiling_face: We're in contact with @hestenet (he/him) for the D9 launch party and how we could collaborate or help in that
dan2k3k4 But I'm also interested to help in any form of spreading knowledge :slightly_smiling_face:
dan2k3k4 I plan on doing a blog post this week, so I could include anything we have from this thread in there too
bircher I am all for a virtual launch party, and as @Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) alluded to, also for some virtual core conversations
(anonymous) I volunteered myself earlier today to spread some information next month at a local meetup.  If anyone else is putting together some information on this I would love to knowledge share.

1️⃣ 2️⃣ Rebuilding the Drupal 9 landing pages on drupal.org.

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) This would be crucial to do sooner than later :slightly_smiling_face:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) if you go to “Why Drupal?”  >> “Drupal 9" on drupal.org, you end up on https://www.drupal.org/about/9
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) which is basically meant to be the Drupal 9 landing page. it leads to three more pages (well, 2)
dww Thanks for the link to something specific, I was about to ask. ;)
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) and it is visually a lot more ads / banner than content ATM
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) we need help to redo these more like https://www.drupal.org/8 and subpages
dww Is there a webmasters issue open about this?  Should there be?  Or do you propose to just coordinate it via Slack?
Neelam Wadhwani Thanks for it..
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) we can open a webmaster issue, not sure @hestenet (he/him) prefers to manage this
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) it will likely end up in some collaborative docs at first
dww There are probably a very small # of people who can actually edit those pages, but a potentially larger population of people who can brainstorm, collect links, draft content, etc.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) exactly (edited)

1️⃣ 3️⃣ How do you plan to celebrate the Drupal 9 launch? (58 days to go!)

Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @webchick raised this :slightly_smiling_face:
webchick Yeah, kinda both what are we (as in the collective "we") going to need to prepare in the lead-up to release, and then also whether we could possibly re-create some aspects of the D8 launch party stuff for D9
webchick Of course not knowing if the entire world will still be in lockdown by then, etc. :slightly_smiling_face:
nerdstein my kids would love a cake baking competition
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) a big part of the world will likely be on some kind of locked / limited capacity probably
webchick Yep. I imagine so.
Neelam Wadhwani Exactly @Gábor Hojtsy (he/him)
webchick So we will need to get creative. :slightly_smiling_face:
dan2k3k4 heh I guess I was supposed to write here instead :joy: well Amazee marketing team would like to help in any way possible, and we're in touch with @hestenet (he/him)
webchick So back in the D8 days, for those who were not around, what happened was each of the Drupal User Groups around the world planned a local party. I can't find the original site but https://www.facebook.com/pg/drupal8releaseparty/about/?ref=page_internal has a map
webchick And it was super great. There were pictures of people getting together, baking things, shining Drupal 8 on buildings, etc.
webchick Feels like we should try and do some similar kind of "community-driven" exercise for Drupal 9, albeit virtually from our homes. :slightly_smiling_face:
webchick But we could pick a day in advance (June 3?) and start a g.d.o push
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) That would be amazing :slightly_smiling_face: We’d need coordinators :slightly_smiling_face:
webchick Yep, for sure.
Neelam Wadhwani It's really a great  idea @webchick
webchick It also came up in a call earlier today that we don't have a good "What is Drupal 9?" asset for people who aren't already Drupalists.
webchick I mean, there is https://www.acquia.com/resources/ebooks/ultimate-guide-drupal-9 but it is not a deck, more of a book, and it's also behind a reg wall
webchick But it would be really neat to have like a one-pager thing like that to introduce people to Drupal who either hadn't heard of it before or who last looked at Drupal in November 2015 when we did our last big marketing push :slightly_smiling_face:
webchick Tho maybe that's the page on D.o, dunno.
webchick Anyway. Those were just some thoughts I had, with ABsolutely no bandwidth to plan / execute either of them. Other thoughts on how we could celebrate this huge milestone as a community?
webchick And I guess I could put a call out to twitter about release parties if we think that's a good idea, and see if we can wrastle up a volunteer or two.
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) re the one pager I found this recently accidentally (really) https://twitter.com/gaborhojtsy/status/1242452120906891264
webchick Ha! Classic!!
dan2k3k4 Prerecorded 15-second celebrations from around the world, mashed into a 15 minute movie? Perhaps "Zoom grid" view to show multiple people at once... ? Or literally have ~300 people in one Zoom room
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @Nico Grienauer (he/him) volunteered to do the layout/design if someone does the text
webchick Interesting
webchick Oooh, nice!
dan2k3k4 Was thinking of 3 main parties for each "grouping" of timezones (Australia, Europe/Africa, Americas)?
Neelam Wadhwani It's really good
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @dan2k3k4 that sounds like a fun idea :slightly_smiling_face:
webchick @dan2k3k4 Yeah something like that could maybe work. Or treat it like NYE and have one on every hour lol
webchick We have a lot of folks in India too so let's not leave them out of any scheduling. :)
Neelam Wadhwani Thanks @webchick.:slightly_smiling_face:
webchick @Neelam Wadhwani my pleasure! :slightly_smiling_face:OK so I might pose this question to Twitter and see what comes back.
dan2k3k4 Interview companies, leaders in the community, perhaps some of the clients - why are they part of Drupal and what they wish for D9+ now that it's "out" [out in the sense of when the recording would be viewed would be during the party] :thinking_face:Some sort of game for people to participate in ? I like the idea of making D9 cakes and showcasing them. What about those "Snapchat/Instagram" filters which ask "which film character are you?" -> but it rotates randomly through which module are you or which theme are you? Taken from the top 50 D9 compatible themes
dan2k3k4 A Drupal Quiz... would be cool but I don't know how we'd do that remotely with so many people
webchick @dan2k3k4 Dang, you are FULL of great ideas
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @dan2k3k4 do you want to take on coordinating this? :slightly_smiling_face:
dan2k3k4 I can try to help :slightly_smiling_face:
webchick http://celebratedrupal8.com/ wow I either completely forgot or didn't know about this site
dan2k3k4 I just participated in versusvirus.ch (hackathon fighting covid in Switzerland) with over 4000 people, fully remote, so I'm probably still in the hackathon mood with all these ideas flowing in :joy:
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) Yeah @pdjohnson did the celebr8d8 site
nerdstein @webchick i was chatting with some folks about reprising Drupal 8 Day -- the virtual conference
dan2k3k4 never knew about http://celebratedrupal8.com but it looks great, is the code for the site open-source and available somewhere @pdjohnson ?
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) @dan2k3k4 I don’t think Paul is here
Gábor Hojtsy (he/him) but we should discuss with Paul, I can connect the two of you :slightly_smiling_face:
dan2k3k4 (I clicked slackbot: send message to inform him :slightly_smiling_face:)
dan2k3k4 but sure, that would be helpful :awthanks:
hestenet (he/him) Following up on this, I have a meeting with our Exec Dir. Heather and a friend of hers who consults on product launch things on Thursday - and will then hopefully have another follow up with a wider group. (edited)

1️⃣ 4️⃣ Thanks all for coming! Keep up the amazing work! See you next week same time! #3125327: Drupal 9 readiness meeting / 13 April 2020 (edited)
