I thought we already solved this white space issue but unfortunately this is not the case. The "/\s+/u" regex pattern doesn't match all white spaces. "/[\pZ\pC]+/u" is the one that does. Here this can be tested: https://gist.github.com/chrif/8dffdb1dab7cba848c3f3fb62a17485e

Thanks a lot for posting this!
However, in the future, please create patches off of the current dev version, not of an old version. The latter makes them harder to apply, and harder to see the actual change.
Anyways, once correctly applied the patch looks good.
