This upgrade has been great, thanks for your work!

Anyways, I'm looking for a way to disable the display of user avatars in the inbox, as some people's avatars are larger than others, so it makes it look slightly disorganized.

Is there any way to do this? Or could you add this as a feature?

PS: How can an admin view its users PM's?

I'm closing old issues since Privatemsg for Drupal 5 is not maintained anymore. I suggest you switch to Drupal 6 if possible, many of the reported issues are probably already resolved there and if not, you're welcome to open a new issue.
