I wanted to understand how to disable title fields using this module and base overirde.

When I navigate to the mentioned path it only gives options to change the label , there in no option to change permissions.

Please help

You can use this project https://www.drupal.org/project/auto_entitylabel to disable or set pattern for the title field.

It's currently only working with the dev-release of this module. Can you that one and report back in this issue?

I'll make a new release of this module in one of the following days.
