Our current platform build makes extensive use of this module, and my team and myself are interested in supporting this module. We are particularly interested in helping with a stable 8.x-2.x versions, see #3019753: Plan for Views Reference Field 2.x-1.0 release.

We are also interested in collaborating a support plan for the 8.x-1.x version.

Would you consider granting me co-maitainership?

Wait, while reviewing issue queue, came across #2890949: Compare with other views-embedding modules and #1299222: Merge the Views Reference Field and Viewfield modules, going to review these and determine path forward.

I'm still looking into comparing the two similar modules, see #2890949-5: Compare with other views-embedding modules. I think this module still needs a new maintainer to steward the issue queue and look to release a stable 2.x version.

Between this and Viewfield, we can continue discussing a roadmap to combine efforts, which b/c of the usage, will need a migration/update path from one to other I think if we can define a roadmap for that.

I'm happy to include you as maintainer. I developed the 1.x version, which is widely used and should be treated with care. It looks like the others have discontinued regular work on the 2.x version.

It's been a while since I did anything on the module but I hope to get some time in the near future to tidy things up.

I would be happy to take a look at any RTBC issues. It would be great to get some help getting issues triaged and RTBC so we can commit them. Besides that, having help is always welcome!

I was thinking of a roadmap that includes 1.x bug fixes only and ensuring an update path on our way to a 2.x version.
