How can I get total rows?

I use drupal 8 and search api in combination with a search view page with exposed filters. Infinite scroll is set to 10 items per page.
My users want to see the number of search results, depending on the exposed filter settings. However, @total in the view header always shows 10 (= infinite scroll setinngs). In fact, the sum of the search results is significantly higher, 250 or 510. What can I do to display this value?
