avpadernoThere are very few limitations of what a user who has not confirmed can do, but those are limitations on how much posts a user can create per minute.
If your friend is not able to post, the issue is something else. Unfortunately, without an error message, we cannot help in resolving the issue.

If you can see the green "Confirm" button, you should be able to confirm him by pressing it.

gisleThere is no error message in that screen shot.
We need to see the error message that this user sees when he tries to post something - for instance when he clicks "Add new Forum topic" in the post installation support forum.

avpadernoThat is a message that is telling users their accounts aren't confirmed and to read the linked page to understand how to become a confirmed user. it doesn't say there is anything wrong that should be fixed.
Maybe it seems suggesting something needs to be done. If that is the case, the message should probably be changed.
