Module project name conflicts with D7 contextual links [#3081434]

I've recently wanted to use composer to manage my Drupal 7 project and I've come across a conflict when requiring drupal/ccl. It is a module called Custom Contextual Links which depends on Drupal 7's core contextual links module.

Due to the folder name and filename of your module, composer seems to pull in your project because it has the name contextual. As a result, it gets pulled into my Drupal 7 module and overrides the core contextual links module in Drupal 7.

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to either rename this project using a machine name like contextual_links instead of contextual so as not to confuse automatic dependency processes?
