Hi,
This is a great module, thanks for creating it, very useful! I am having the following issue I am hoping you can assist me with:
What are the steps required to reproduce the bug?
Create a date field.
Select option to 'disable for certain roles'.
Highlight/select all users except 'administrator' in the 'Disable field on the add content form for next roles:' box.
Do this for both adding and editing content.
Save settings.
What behavior were you expecting?
When I am logged in as administrator, I would expect to be able to edit the date field when adding or editing content.
What happened instead?
The field is disabled and I cannot add or edit as administrator.
Many thanks! Charles

martijn de witNoticed the same with user 1 (super admin). If this user has not a role that is selected in the dropdown. This user even had no permission for the field.
What a site admin / builder expect; User 1 has always permission to edit all fields.
If this is by design, it should be documented I think :)

jeroentIs this still present in the latest version, 8.x-2.3?
I tried to reproduce this issue, but it seems it's already fixed.

charlie1volley commentedYes! Looks good from my end: tested 3 roles, 3 different disabled fields for each, and both add and edit forms. Works as expected and allows super user to edit.
Really appreciate your efforts on the module! -c
