I was wondering if an update of the module is considered to make it PSD2 - 3DS2 compatible.

In my limited understanding a number of extra data fields would need to be send which allows the bank to do further risk accesment. Without this extra information, clients might have a more complicated payment experience because they will need to provide extra authentication information.

You're right. It would be good to have that support.

However, at the moment, I do not have access to documentation or test environments to do the development since currently I no longer maintain any website that uses this module.

I will be happy to add the patches provided by the community or to add as a maintainer another user who can take charge of the module.
