Happy Pride Month, everybody!
Recent channel discussions around Pride month have prompted me to think we should curate a selection of resources on Pride month, what it means, why it is still necessary, etc.
Resources to be considered for inclusion:

sparklingrobotsI'd love if we had articles addressing at least these questions:
* What is Pride about? (History of Stonewall)
* Why is Pride still necessary?
* Why Pride/LGBTQIA rights are a global concern
* How this affects our community
* Why All Lives Matter and similar arguments diminish the effectiveness of our work

r13ose commentedCan we talk about 2SLGBTQQIA (Two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and asexual)?
sparklingrobots@R13ose sure! Are you referring to which term we use in the post? Or are there resources about that specific term you'd like to include?

r13ose commentedI am referring to terms we use in the post(s). We have to include more about people of colour and Indigenous people.

johnshortessShould we consider a link to PFLAG? Despite the historical acronym (the organization was originally "Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays"), it's an LGBTQIA+-inclusive organization -- in my experience as a pretty active PFLAG parent, the majority of participants these days are families of trans/nonbinary/gender-expansive kids.
I discovered Stonewall Forever the other day -- maybe a good resource for Pride history?

ekl1773Sounds like a link under the "explaining acronyms" section of the Pride blog post would help speak to using 2SLGBTQQIA. I found this acronym explainer from Pink News - does anyone have experience with that site? I wasn't sure about it. Do you have any others you'd like to include here?
Also found this "Mending the Rainbow: Working with the Native LGBT/Two Spirit Community" (PDF) which looks pretty interesting and has a bunch more links. It's from 2012. http://www.tribal-institute.org/2012/B6PP.pdf
