Various of the issues in 2.x will make non-compatible changes to views. We basically have two options: try to migrate or document manual migrations. We can mix and match: auto where it's easy, manual otherwise.

We can likely copy code from #3002939: Convert order/product multivalue configurable fields back into base fields.
