My Git password does not seem to be working, is this because I am not a conformed user?

The account has been already confirmed.
Having a confirmed account doesn't influence the Git authentication on drupal.org, though. There are users who aren't confirmed who commit code on drupal.org repositories. I have seen that when reviewing applications to opt into security coverage.
