When a menu contains more than 100 items the order on de menu page is not saved.

Our team needed to increase the max_input_vars value in the php.ini file.

From our Dockerfile:
`RUN sed -i 's/; max_input_vars = 1000/max_input_vars = 5000/' /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini`

Credit to Joshua Cummings at University of Washington for that solution.

True, that is something that should be altered for most Drupal installs. We default set this to 10000, so that will surely help.
