Request for 'confirmed' role

I had to create a new account. I suppose my old one got deleted after not posting for several years, but I have been a part of this community, even if on the periphery, since 2007.

I need someone to confirm my ability to post. I understand why many may not as it may appear my post is not 100% positive, but it's an important story. It's my story.
