I found today that using this module caused Entity Reference fields on the user account to be wiped when the simple password reset form is submitted.

In my own form alter I remove those Entity Reference fields from the profile form entirely so they aren't submitted with the form.

I haven't tried this module with another site that has Entity Reference fields on a user profile yet.

I suspect that this isn't necessarily the fault of this module but rather just due to the complexity of Entity Reference fields.
Just wanted to put this out there in case someone runs across the same thing as it was destructive to existing data in my fields.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.

Now that this issue is closed, review the contribution record.
