@jrwilson For now I have modified the views integration of the module and made sure that a relationship can be added to connect counter and user data. Through a relationship, you can easily add a user role in the view.

As per me, this solution is sufficient for now. Please open up a new issue in case you think we should store user roles as well as in the counter data. Thanks for using this module.
