I upgraded from to 7.x-1.4 to 7.x-1.5. After upgrading, the HTML5 player is no longer displayed (link to file is displayed instead) and on the manage display page for the field I get the errors:

Can you go into your settings and change the player to something else and then change back to the HTML player? Looks like some settings got corrupted along the way.

I tried that previously (changed the format to "generic file"). After changing it back to "audiofield player" the notices return and the player is not displayed.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
