We moved perelink.binet.pro service to perelink.pro domain and now it is a separate business, so I want to change its short name from "binet_perelink" to "perelink"?

It looks like "perelink" is available, so I would like to have that, if possible?

It's not possible to change the short name used from a project. If the short name is available, you can create a new project and put a link on the old project page that redirects users to the new project.

As for keeping the git history of the old project in the new one, probably the Infrastructure Team can give you more information.

You should add the new project’s Git remote to a clone of the old project and push each branch and all tags to the new remote to keep the project’s Git history.
