It would be handy to allow makrdown filter to be ran when importing data with Feeds.

Given that they already provide a lot of plugins, https://git.drupalcode.org/project/feeds_tamper/tree/7.x-1.x/plugins, I think this really belongs over there. This module is intended to do one thing: parse markdown. Integrations with other modules should happen in the modules that wish to support markdown parsing.
