Comment not showing up

Greetings,
I just created an account and tried to post a comment on this issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/2945539

I was able to submit the comment, but it's not appearing on the page. Maybe this is a limitation of a non-confirmed user account? But it seems that it will be a bit difficult for me to become a confirmed user by posting content if I can't post any content.

Or perhaps the comment is waiting approval? If so, shouldn't the page have told me that after I submitted the comment?
