The module has no menu or modifiable settings. There is no configuration. You only need to place a block in a region and select the node and
its display mode. You do not need to know more to use the module.

Please, please, pretty please - since it is the holiday season, can you provide just a little bit more information?

  1. I have installed this module.
  2. I've created a block.
  3. I've placed the block in a region.

However - there does not seem to be any way to "select the node [that is to appear in the block] and its display mode". Could you just provide a little hint about what to do in order to complete this step?

I've read the source code, and AutocompleteController.php seems to look for the node title in the database, but there is no autocompletion happening at my site.

1. Place Block.

2. In the configuration of the block when you place them, in the field node you can put the title of the node, it is a field that autocompletes the title and take the node and in the field display you choose the type of display:

Thanks for the reply! Got it now - the graphics was extremely helpful.

However, I think it would be helpful to other users struggling to understand how to use this module if you added something like the following to the README.txt:

After you've installed this module, a special block of the category "Quick Node Block" will be available in the list of blocks that appear when you click to "Place block" to place a block in a region. Click the "Place block" button to the right of this to get to the dialogue for picking the node that will appear in the block. There is a field named "Node", and you should start by filling this in with the title of an existing node. This is an autocompletion field. After selecting the node, select the display mode. Finally, click "Save block".

I added those instructions in the README thank you very much.
