Problem/Motivation

On a complex site with a complex search it is time-consuming and cumbersome to scroll down from the top of the window each time after adding a field or expanding it with the (+) link.

Proposed resolution

Present a form with checkboxes that could be selected to add multiple fields at once.

Interesting idea, thanks!
I fear, though, that I’m not very good with UI code (I was really happy to even get it working like this.), and also generally have little time for feature requests, so we’ll have to see when this gets picked up. But I’d definitely be interested if someone wants to work on it!

@drunken , this is similar to issue mentioned on Related Issue. I have given patch there. Hopefully that will fix the mentioned expanding (+)/(-) issue.

Thanks for pointing out the other issue here!
However, “Needs review” is not correct if the patch is actually in another issue. Also, as you see on the right, it’s unnecessary to link two issues both ways – you’ll just get two links that way.
In any case, leaving both issues open doesn’t really serve a purpose – please just check the other issue, if you are interested. CLosing this one as a duplicate.
