Request for 'confirmed' user role

Trying to give myself a crash course here in drupal now that our main drupal developer left us.
Due to having some difficulty with upgrading a particular page_manager module I'm needing to post in the forum for that module but need to be a confirmed user to post. Help me out if you can!
